Part of educating people about DWI is to show that DWI violators are the same people that you might see in your everyday life. It could be the person that was at the red light next to you on the way into work this morning, or the neighbor driving down your street while your kids are outside playing.
DWI is a crime that does not discriminate between rich or poor, age, sex and race. Whether you are out for a night on the town or just out for a trip to the store, you can be a victim or violator at anytime.
These are some of the people that were not as lucky. Some of them have killed loved ones or strangers. Some “first time offenders” claim that they have never been DWI before. Others have been arrested and convicted numerous times. Some were DWI and had children in the car with them. Some were involved in crashes, and others were stopped before they could crash.
Each of these photos represents lives that were saved. Lives saved when this person was taken off of the street, even if that life is the person that you are looking at.
