Jed Lindecamp

On January 7, 2008, Jed Lindecamp, 32 years old,  and a passenger were on his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle headed home after drinking at two different bars and stopping at a friends house.  Lindecamp was driving east in the 17600 block of Westheimer Parkway in the westbound lanes.  Lindecamp lost control of the motorcycle, struck the median and crashed with the motorcycle landing on the street.  Lindecamp and his passenger were thrown from the bike.  His passenger died at the scene from her injuries.  A mandatory blood draw was taken when Lindecamp was being treated for his injuries with a result of .28.     Lindecamp was arrested, charged and convicted of Intoxication Manslaughter.  Lindecamp was sentenced to 5 years in prison and assessed a $1000.00 fine for killing his passenger.
