On January 17, 2008, Idlebird was stopped at 14100 S. Post Oak after driving upon two patrol units that were at the location on an unrelated call. Officers Made contact with Idlebird and found him to be exhibiting signs of intoxication. Field Sobriety tests were done at the location and Idlebird was arrested. He later took a breath test and blew .09 . His passenger was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Xanax. Idlebird was charged with DWI.
Five days later, on January 22, 2008, Idlebird was stopped by officers at 10200 S. Post Oak for failing to drive within a single lane of traffic. Idlebird again appeared to be very intoxicated and after Field Sobriety tests, he was arrested. Idlebird refused to provide a breath specimen this time. He had a different passenger in the vehicle with him that was also arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Xanax, Codeine, and Marijuana. Idlebird was charged with DWI and PCS – Codeine

Arrested on 01-30-08 at 0007 hours at 3000 Ella Houston, Tx
On 01-30-08 Jones was observed running a red light at W 34th and Ella. After running the red light, Jones was observed weaving out of his lane and driving at a very slow speed. Jones was stopped by an officer at 3000 Ells. The Officer observed Jones to have slurred speech, and had difficulty with his speech. Jones claimed that he was unable to do any Field Sobriety Tests due to a knee injury and being hard of hearing in one ear. Jones was arrested for DWI and transported to the Central Station. Jones provided a breath specimen and blew 0.000. A drug evaluation was conducted and Jones provided a urine specimen that was tested for drugs. Jones had a combination of Hydrocodone and Carisoprodol in his body at the time he was stopped. This was Jones 4th DWI conviction.
Jones was sentenced to 4 years in prison.
